56,417 people attended conflict mitigation and mutual understanding events
Events include workshops, seminars, town meetings, and peace dialogues designed to strengthen the reconciliation process and serve as measures to preempt conflict.
2,064 people trained in conflict mitigation and resolution skills
Training increases a population's abilities to resolve and mitigate conflict on its own.
These women are part of SERASI -a three-year conflict mitigation and peace-building program funded by USAID for peace-building.
