USAID has supported Afghans in addressing the causes of instability and establishing an environment for sustained social and economic development. This has included extending the reach of the government to unstable areas, supporting social and economic assistance and income-generation opportunities among at-risk populations, building trust between citizens and their government, and encouraging local populations to take an active role in their development.
Disclaimer: Dollars to Results links spending in a fiscal year to results reported for that same year.
