USAID's Investments for Education and Social Services in Asia Regional - Dollars to Results
The common thread among all USAID education programs in Asia is they help underserved and marginalized groups gain the general skills and knowledge needed to function effectively in all aspects of their lives. The programs provide equitable access to relevant and quality educational opportunities, including literacy and workforce development, in areas of high youth unemployment and underdevelopment and in crisis or conflict-affected areas.
USAID'S EDUCATION AND SOCIAL SERVICES PROGRAM IN ASIA AIMS TO:
- Support higher education; and
- Provide social assistance and services for vulnerable populations.
