In DRC, USAID focuses on increasing access to education through targeted programs for vulnerable people—victims of conflict, girls, out-of-school youth, orphans, and vulnerable children—through school catch-up opportunities, outreach, and special programs.

USAID's Education and Social Services Program in the Democratic Republic of the Congo aims to:

  • Improve basic education; and
  • Provide social assistance and services for vulnerable populations.
