In Kenya, economic programs focus on food security to help an estimated 502,000 Kenyan women, children and family members escape hunger and poverty.

USAID's Economic Development program in Kenya aims to:

  • Build a strong agricultural sector;
  • Promote economic opportunity; and
  • Promote private sector competitiveness.
